I'm excited about the TupperConnect party, but disappointed about the new STAR program. I just joined as a consultant in June, thus I am disqualified from participating in the new STAR program. Everyone in Tupperware who started before February can participate, yet I am stuck in the old STAR program, which entitles me to $10 off my next order if I put in so much in sales each week. The new program offers WAY more incentives so I am very disappointed that I don't get to participate. Count me in as another disappointed new consultant.:( I would much rather receive product for my shows/home than $10 off.
I have enjoyed getting the cash off as that means more money in profit from my show. Scary maze. I have also gotten quite a bit of free goods in the promotions that they have been running with the sales contests. I guess TW can't make everyone happy, but they try I guess that is how we have to look at it. Some people prefer having the cash back and others want the free products:) I don't mind the $10 off, if I actually get it. I have made the required amount of sales a few times, and I have never received a coupon for $10 off.

Also, I feel that most of the gifts that they are offering with the new program have a greater value than $10 - I want the bigger prize! Now that you mention it, i got the soy candle thing (not sure what I'm going to do with it!), but no $10 off the book party I submitted after that. Is there a rule about using it in a certain time frame? My book party was about 2 weeks after the week I earned the soy candle.
I agree that the things offered in the new STAR program are much more valuable than $10 off! It seems like a higher incentive to me,b ecause it will help you grow your business instead of just a one time savings! I'm holding out hope that ater our original 13 weeks are over, we'll be able to start on the new STAR program like everyone else. It is 13 weeks in the program, then for 13 weeks after you are considered post-program. THEN maybe we can start the new program. So it'll be a while. I remember earning my name badge the first time around when I signed up through the star program but I never received it from Tupperware or my manager.
I have not earned it this time around. I didn't worry about it the first time because I was only doing book orders and not parties but now I am doing parties. Where else can I get the name badge at a reasonable cost. I went on vistaprint and they didn't have Tupperware products up yet.
By what I read on the 14 day option in the back office, vistaprint was going to have the tupperware logo already made up for law purposes. Have any of you had luck with this? Thanks jennifer bayes.
