At this point I am starting to become severely frustrated with my new PSP E1000. I only bought it today yet I have spent 5 or so hours not playing games on it, but troubleshooting a ridiculous problem that I am facing. I've been reading through this forum and plenty of others, and whether people were using CFW or OFW didn't change anything (I'm only using OFW by the way). It's the same problem as seemingly thousands of other users - I can't activate GAMES on my PSP. It will allow video and music, sure. Do livro a cabana pdf. But not games.
I have the Playstation Network Downloader installed on my PC and when I choose to activate games from the 'Devices' menu, it all seems well and good. The webpage has an example image of a window which reads 'Activation completed' but no matter how many hundreds of times I try (in different ways) I get this error code instead: 0x80048b2d When I called customer service Australia, it looked like things were going to pan out okay. They took me through all these steps until we reached this roadblock of an error code, and then we could no longer move forward. I've been told it'll be forwarded to upper management, and apparently this will take up to 10 working days. Today is Friday. My dreams of playing classic Crash Bandicoot over the weekend are destroyed because this system needs some sort of 'OK' to play games.
What kind of a gaming device needs activation to play games? I don't understand. On top of this I can't access Crash Bandicoot 2 which is in my download list in Media Go, apparently the only way I can even get content on to my PSP.
Which would be fine, Media Go would actually do anything. I just get another error code when I try to access my download list. Therefore I am locked out of playing a game I purchased and this feels terrible. This certainly isn't how the 3DS operates. You purchase, it downloads, you play. That is literally only 2 steps.
Why do I have to jump through all these hoops just to play a damn game. IF ANYONE can help me circumvent this at all. Please reply and help me out. I will be ever-grateful.
I just want to play my PSP. That's all I want to do.
Games For Psp
Please bear in mind the model I'm using does not have internet access on it's own, it must be connected to a PC in order to basically function at all I'm presuming. TLDR: My PSP can't activate it's 'game' function under settings online. I can't play my downloaded game. Thanks in advance to those who read this post and further thanks to those who respond. Well there is easy and hard solution to this.

Hard solution is to get ps3 and download psp game then copy it to psp from you psp. Easy solution is to get rid of e1000 and get any other psp model that has wifi.

You can play cartrages and to play dugital games you had to use pc software or wii to download game to 3ds. That is psp e1000 a big waist of money. If there is anything more I can help you with friend me and I'll do my best.
