Donkey Kong Pie Factory Nes Rom
Donkey Kong Pie Factory. Original game: Donkey Kong. Pro: Adds the deleted level that was missing from the original game! The original Donkey Kong. Donkey kong (arcade original) NES - wii/rom. NES - wii/rom - with pie factory screen! You can search for donkey kong (original edition) and find a rom that. I think I can explain why the Pie Factory level is not present in the NES port of Donkey Kong. I was never satisfied with the explanation that ROM chips were.
I can tell you based on my own experience. The ROM for the game is based on the 'completed' special edition of NES Donkey Kong that was included with the red Wii in Europe. It restores some additional animations to the NES from the arcade, as well as the cement factory/pie level. The problem, however, is that the ROM was made to run on emulation, not original hardware. This means that there are potential bank-switching errors that can cause the graphics in the new pie level to be corrupted.
I've had this problem on everything I've tried the cart on, including original NES hardware and clones (while others have experienced no problems at all). An email was sent from RetroZone detailing the problem and offering a replacement for problem carts. I received my replacement last week, but it has the exact same graphic corruption issues as before. I have yet to hear from their customer support on this problem.
Thanks for the link; my search function skills turned up nothing and I didn't want to wait 15 per new search, lol. This is good to know.
I don't think I'll pick one up, as much as I'd like to. I don't want a glitchy game for my NES, and I'm wondering why Retrozone wouldn't have fixed such a big error.I mean, the main selling point is that you GET THE PIE LEVEL, yet the graphics are glitchy. I'm sure it's because all they did was load the Wii game onto an NES rom and figured that would be the end of it.well, I hope some kind of resolution is in the works, but since you're getting the same problem on different copies, it looks to be a systemic problem. That's ok though, cause I still have another three or so games I really want to try from them.mainly Battle Kid and Super Mario Bros 2j, oh, and the World Championship 1990, lol!
I hope those don't have any issues.I was going to pick up the Campus Challenge but they want a nutty amount of money for it. Not sure why they did that.perhaps they figure that the ebayers will fork out the bucks??lol. An email was sent from RetroZone detailing the problem and offering a replacement for problem carts. Super Mario Bros 2j That one has a weird glitch at the end of World 8-8 where it doesn't go straight to 9-1 or A-1.
It's probably expecting a flip of the original Famicom Disk System disk or something. However, there is a level select function on the title screen.
I also ran into a couple other glitches, but nothing too major. The worst one was on level 5-3 (I think) while playing as Mario. I might have been overlooking something, but a necessary platform appeared to have been missing.
Even though it's not necessary in the Luigi mode, it appeared there. And there was one level (I forget) where if you died, you ended up respawning at a spot where there was no floor, so you kept on dying until you ran out of lives. Overall, it's a good reproduction, but I'd be interested in seeing how a pirate Famicom cart or the one from compares to it. I think has it, too. The interesting thing about the three Vs. Games and 2j that I got for Christmas last year is that they use a Xilinx chip. I guess that's there for use as a memory mapper.

Mario 1 and Vs. Excitebike are flawless as far as I can tell, but Vs.
Donkey Kong Pie Factory Level
Duck Hunt has a strange glitch where the game automatically inserts coins during intermission sequences. Not game-breaking at all, but still very weird.
