I recently installed Sims 2 Apartment Life. But somehow I cannot manage to figure out how to create one. I've tried making a residential lot, a community lot, and either way I can't figure out how to make it official (as in, there is a mailbox suitable for paying rent and having a landlord). Leave a gap between any side by side apartments, basically when you create your apartments make sure that all along the connecting wall there is a one square room with no doors to it. This is your sound buffer zone. You can then place your bedrooms wherever you like and no matter how much noise your neighbours make it will only make noise in the buffer zone and therefore not wake anyone up. Tell us some more.
